North East Inspired Stocking Filler Gifts

When it comes to Christmas, there’s no better gift than something that reminds you of your brilliant home, the North East. We’re a small indie business dedicated to bringing you the best of the best when it comes to Northern artists and creatives - they all make such amazing gifts so here’s our little list of favourites!

Starting with our forever favourite, For The Love of The North Organic & Fair Trade Tote Bag.We try our best to be as sustainable as possible both at home and at For the Love of the North. One of our favourite hacks for a more sustainable lifestyle is swapping out plastic carriers for eco-friendly tote bags. This pink For the Love of the North tote bag is fair trade and made with GOTS certified organic cotton and vegan inks to be as planet-friendly as possible. Oh, and it’s also very nice to look at!

Our next pick is for the Star Wars lovers, May The North Be With You Pin Badge. The ideal pin badge for any Northern Star Wars lovers as it blends the franchise’s most iconic phrase with our beloved North England. The badge uses the film’s iconic yellow and black colours to create a striking enamel pin.

Probably one of my personal favourite’s is our brand new Gratitude Candle. We've collaborated with KOHJI Candles who've created a special candle fragrance specifically for us.Our brand new Gratitude candle is a part of our upcoming candle collection - each candle will be based on a very special Northern person throughout history. Starting with our Gratitude candle, dedicated to Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, with hints of Bergamot giving it that beautiful Earl Grey scent.

Our Wor Angel collection by NET00n Creative is one of our most popular ranges to date and we absolutely understand why! Every time we see the Angel of the North, our heart skips a beat. This Wor Heart Angel sculpture is part of a wider collection of miniature Angel of the North figurines, each of which features the Angel in a different way. This particular design stays true to the features of Anthony Gormley's sculpture but is instead embellished with a bright red heart.

What Northern Brit doesn’t love a good cup of tea...I know I can’t go a day without at least 3! Our Durham Loose Leaf Tea isa luxurious blend of real fruits and flowers on a rich black tea base. Designed with the help of the people of County Durham to share the flavour of the Land of the Prince Bishops with the world.

And what’s a cup of tea without a fabulous new mug? This Coast at Christmas Bone China Mug is one of our brand new items in our festive collection this year. The mug features some of our greatest North East monuments - from the Spanish City Dome, St Mary's Lighthouse and Tynemouth Priory & Castle. Spread the joy with this merry mug by gifting it to a loved one this Christmas.

And finally, new year is coming year = new notebook! Our Hyem Sweet Hyem Notebook is a firm favourite of both ours and our customers.Us Geordie’s have plenty of sayings that no one else in the country can understand, one of them is 'Hyem Sweet Hyem', it means home sweet home. Whether you live here up North or somewhere else, there really is no place like home. This popular phrase has been transferred onto a blue notebook which is filled with blank sheets of paper perfect for note taking, sketching and drawing.

Those are just a few of the North East themed items we sell here but there’s SO MUCH MORE! Check out the rest of our site and have yourselves a canny little Christmas.
