Lindisfarne Christmas Show 19th December 1984: Three successful gigs at Newcastle City Hall in 1976 were the first of many annual Lindisfarne Christmas shows. The band is one of the region’s most successful folk bands. The band was established in 1968 originally under the name of Brethren and is best known for albums such as “Nicely out of Tune” and, of course, “Fog on the Tyne”.
