Laura Edgar will be taking part in our 2024 Secret Art Sale to raise funds for The BAY Foodbank.
Laura Edgar is an artist and tutor who works in the medium of textiles and mixed media. Inspired by her local region, a sense of place and the emotive power of nature, she explores an eclectic mix of vintage textiles, recycled clothing, paint, and embroidery to create original artworks, prints, fashion accessories and cards.
Laura has been a constant supporter of For the Love of the North with solo exhibitions in our original shop at Whitley Road, Whitley Bay and also in the Spanish City dome as well as previously donating artwork to raise funds for The BAY Foodbank. We're thrilled she will also be taking part in our 2023 Secret Art Sale.
