View Exhibition  - 24th - 27th April. 

All artwork will be £50.  All artwork will be sold anonymously so you won't find which artist created you beautiful artwork until you get it home!

Claire Shand 

Claire Shand is a watercolour artist whose work is inspired by wildlife and nature. She strives to create loose, expressive paintings that capture the essence of her subjects while celebrating the unique, unpredictable qualities of watercolour. Claire began painting in 2019 as a creative escape from work and quickly developed a passion for the kinetic nature of the medium.
Claire lives on a farm near Morpeth, Northumberland, with her Golden Retriever Samson, and her horses. She balances her artistic practice with her role as Marketing Director in the family business and a love of running and the countryside. A member of Morpeth Art Group, Claire has had work accepted in Woodhorn Museum’s Annual Open Exhibition since 2022, receiving a Highly Commended award in 2023, and Northern Artist’s summer exhibition in 2025.
